Our 1-on-1 sessions are 45 minutes long and can be done either in person or online.

The structure of the sessions depends on the goals we set on the first meeting — we talk about the topic, present you the theory behind it and then work on different skills and practical exercises. Very often you will get a "homework" or simple tasks to do in between our sessions.

Is sport psychology for me?

Sport psychology counseling is based on Cognitive Behavioral Psychotherapy (CBT) which is a talking therapy based on the concept that your thoughts, feelings, physical sensations and actions are interconnected, and that negative thoughts and feelings can trap you in a vicious cycle.

Unlike some other talking treatments, CBT deals with your current problems, rather than focusing on issues from your past.

Most common topics:

  • Anxiety/Fear (nervousness before performance)

  • Negative thinking patterns

  • Self-image

  • Motivation

  • Concentration

  • Communication (team, coach, family)
